Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works

Occupying 28 hectares of land, the existing Sha Tin STW is the largest secondary sewage treatment works in the territory, the Drainage Services Department has commenced relocating the Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works.

The new Sha Tin Cavern STW will occupy 14 hectares of land while providing the same treatment capacity as the existing one by adopting advanced sewage treatment technologies. PERI delivered the tunnel lining formwork for the project.
