Taiwan Beitou Curved Retaining Wall PERI DUO system formwork was used in a curved retaining wall project.
The total length is approximately 5.4 km, including a 4.7 km bridge section, with a standard deck width of 15 m and 4 lanes. The main bridge is a five-tower six-span camber structure, with a main span of 200 m and a total length of 1050 m. The cross-section of the tower is in the shape of sorghum.
Taiwan Kinmen Bridge PERI supplied the VARIO GT 24 wall formwork, the CB system and the PERI UP for the sorghum-shaped pylons for the main bridge, which was also the most difficult part of the project.
