Supply Chain Manager (m/f)

Your responsibilities

• Visit suppliers on a regular basis
• Build and maintain a database of local suppliers with locally produced and sourced products
• Monitor overall smooth daily operation of the factories, checking monitoring and improving process flow in the factory
• Educate workers on the factory floor on how to improve their workstation and checking at each process point, especially on quality
• Oversee all incoming materials, checking and recording, sampling of materials
• Oversee and check overall quality standard of all products before shipping out
• Oversee and work with factory on all new jigs and tooling and checking of first off samples
• Attendding trade fairs sourcing, setting up of sub-suppliers
• Maintain a high standard of quality
• Negotiate competitive pricing and payment terms, assist/ follow up on lead time and shipping
• Provide latest drawings, ensure suppliers comply with all the latest drawing specifications and testing according to PERI's requirements
• Check and confirm all materials comply with requirements before proceeding with orders
• Plan and implement a quality control and documentation system for trace-ability on all orders and products

Your profile

• BS degree in Supply Chain Management / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Solid experience directly related to logistics, sourcing and supply chain management with China suppliers
• Experience in construction industry in an advantage
• Proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
• Very good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, able to work independently
