Human Resources Executive

Kowloon, Hong Kong

Your responsibilites

  • To develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that effectively meets PERI's business needs and adds value to the business
  • To advise the Management team in the implementation of strategic issues including organisation structure, culture, leadership and organisation competencies
  • To ensure that all PERI's policies and procedures are reviewed regularly and revised as appropriate to comply with employment law and government directives and to enable PERI to meet the changing needs of their business
  • To ensure PERI's managers and employees are aware of their legal and contractual responsibilities.
  • To promote, progress and champion policies and update the Company handbook to reflect the changes in policy and legislation
  • To support the maintenance of effective employee relationships and to facilitate any difficulties and their resolution
  • Work closely with the Managing Director, other Directors and Line Managers to ensure consistent, efficient working practices
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with all employees, managers and other external agencies
  • Identify training needs to ensure employees have the relevant skills to do their jobs
  • Recruitment of suitable staff
  • Support the Managing Director and other Directors in people management
  • Communicate key information as required
  • Safeguarding the induction, further development and well-being of all employees

Your profile

  • University degree in Human Resources Management, or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of work experience in HR environment at a strategic level. Experience in the construction industry is advantageous
  • Widespread knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinances, Data Protection, Equality and Diversity and Human Resources regulations
  • Creating and implementing an HR strategy
  • Experience in development of policies and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels
  • Confidently challenges others

  • Drives continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills
  • Calm and able to respond to difficult situations with sensitivity
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office
