Head of Finance

Your responsibilities

• Report to the Managing Director, and manage finance teams in HK and China
• Provide leadership to achieve the organization's mission and help execute staff succession and growth plans
• Responsible for the overall strategic and tactical financial management matters, including financial reporting, financial planning, treasury and taxation.
• Recommend and develop short, medium and long-term financial plans and projections
• Perform consolidation for reporting purposes and ensure statutory compliance in HK and PRC
• Manage a high standard in financial due diligence, cash flow analysis and ultimate valuations of business assets
• Lead and manage the commercial and financial aspects of the business, including budgets, expenditure, administration, cost control etc.
• Develop and maintain solid internal control systems to safeguard financial assets of the organization
• Liaise with lawyers, auditors, tax advisers, company secretary, bankers and relevant local authorities

Your profile

• Bachelor degree in Finance & Accounting or other related disciplines
• Qualified CPA, ideally with Big 4 training and a minimum of 15 years commercial experience 
• A background with international trading business, prior exposure to construction materials / formwork & scaffolding will be highly preferred
• Prior work experience in multinational companies, being able to work with senior executives in cross-cultural context
• Sound understanding of by-laws and relevant legislations in relation to corporate governance and tax regulations in HK and PRC (as applicable).
• Exceptional business acumen, Project Management, Task Orientation and leadership skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified)
• Willingness to travel is required
• Immediately available will be an advantage
