Business Development Manager - Greater China

This role is to identify and execute key strategic initiatives to support the achievement of PERI Greater China's targets (focus on market-related initiatives). The position will support the Managing Director in strategy development, to ensure effective communication of strategic initiatives and gain in-depth understanding of operational PERI business.

Your responsibilities

• Identify, structure and prioritize key strategic initiatives withint the context of the subsidiaries' long-term vision
• Create analyses on important strategic issues (e.g. significant investments, new market segments, new geographical opportunities)
• Develop strategic plans with the Managing Director and the management team
• Summarize strategies, synthesize the different initiatives into a coherent strategy framework as basis of communication and implementation
• Translate strategic initiatives into project and financial plans
• Execute strategic projects with full project management and budget responsibility
• Lead and enable cross-functional project teams involved in strategic projects
• Initiate and ensure effective communication of strategic initiatives to relevant stakeholders within the subsidiary and towards Market Unit and Headquarters
• Coordinate and report on activities of Shanghai office

Your Profile

• Bachelor/ Master Degree and comprehensive project responsibility
• 2+ years of experience in managing complex strategic projects, preferable in construction industry
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong drive and entrepreneurial attitude with excellent organizational skills
• Experienced in Cross-cultural working environment (preferably in Asia)
• Proficient in MS Office skills
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English, Chinese (German are an asset)
